Whisper of Book Carving Art

 

paper always come from trees but in Kylie Stillman’s -the Australian artist- world, the trees come from paper and the birds that once lived in those trees are back nesting between words.

It an incredible art, she uses books as if it was a block of marble she engraves books pages creating beautiful works of art.

Most carving are made on old books (I kindly like those old fashioned feel), and some carving made on magazines which has high-quality paper and vivid color.
