Whisper of Stone Painting

The art of painting on rocks or stone is a fine and creative art
we need for it:
1. Smooth flat stones.


2. Felt markers.

3. Paints.





3. Paint brushes.






Steps:
1. Clean and dry off the stones.


2. First paint the background of your stone and let it dry.



3. Draw in the design you want.



4. Paint the design carefully and let it dry thoroughly.




5. When the painting is dry use the PVA Glue to coat the stone. When dry this acts as a varnish.


6. Use the water in the jar to clean the brushes.


Painted stones can be used as paper weights or ornaments

Remark: Acrylic paints are water soluble paints much like watercolour paint. But acrylic dries very fast and are water-ressistant when dry. So they make perfect paint for stone painting.
